Proper packing ensures the cargo goods to arrive safely at their destinations

While planning to send cargo to Pakistan from UK, there are many things to consider before getting things ready. First of all, it is crucial to learn that how to send cargo to Pakistan and then plan the entire process. Goods that have been planned to be sent to Pakistan definitely have some value for their owners. It is important to give some deep attention to packing because proper packing of valuables ensure damage-free cargo delivery to Pakistan.

Different cargo companies have different packing requirements for shipping via air cargo or sea cargo. Make sure that package is properly packed and safe for transportation. Usually cargo companies publish their guidelines for packing cargo goods, consult the requirements of cargo company and then start packing.

Always stick to the time limits of the company and parcel should be ready at least 24 hours before the transit time.

As a general safety precaution, the packing must be strong enough and should be able to hold out the pressure of 60lbs to 70lbs per square foot, it must be able to tolerate rain for at least two minutes before water gets inside.

If the goods are of the perishable nature and contain anything susceptible to leakage, that must be packed with due care by using multiple leak-proof bags and then boxes.

When package is ready to seal, never use the grey duct tape or masking tape. Use any heavy duty sealing tape and properly tape the bottom and top of the box. Preferably use the transparent packing tapes. For extra security and mind satisfaction, wrap up the entire package using the see-through cling-film or plastic wrapping sheet.

Before wrapping the package with cling-film, properly write the address of the receiver in Pakistan, including his name, home address, city and PO Box if any. Don’t forget to write the phone number of receiver on the cargo box. Sender’s name and address also required with every cargo package. For extra care of the goods inside the box, do not overfill or underfill the cargo box.
